Day 1. Welcome to Dublin!
Spend the first night of your Irish getaway in Kilkenny at the Newpark Hotel. Kilkenny is a magical city with some undiscovered gems. Definitely visit the Kilkenny Castle and city walls. This medieval castle protected the town of Kilkenny and now stands as a monument for visitors to check out. Included in this vacation package is entrance to this site.
Built on over 40 acres of parkland, the Newpark Hotel provides family-friendly elegance for visitors to the area. The dedicated staff works tirelessly to make sure you and your family receive top-notch service. Many of the spacious, well-appointed rooms include serene views of the green gardens and parkland. Scott's Bar & Bistro has a sparkling reputation for delicious, locally sourced food and is a favorite among the locals.
Strike out for day trips to discover the treasures of Kilkenny, or stay on-property to take advantage of the hotel's many exciting amenities. Newpark hotel offers family room accommodations and activities everyone can enjoy, such as the Newpark adventure trail, where you can catch glimpses of the alpacas and llamas that live there. The Krazy Kats Kids Club is bustling with activity and affords parents a few hours to slip off to unwind at the Escape Health Club and Spa.
Day 2. Kilkenny – Kinsale
After Kilkenny, drive about two hours south to Kinsale where you'll stay for two nights. Feel free to explore the city of Cork and be sure to visit the Lavit Gallery, St. Finbarr’s Cathedral and the Bells of Shandon.
Established in 1946, Actons Hotel is the oldest in Kinsale. The hotel stands on the banks of Kinsale Harbour and provides guests with an unsurpassable view of the yachts in the water. Day 3. Kinsale
Continue exploring from Cork today. Maybe take a drive to the Blarney Castle and Stone, one of the most famous landmarks in Cork. You’ll find some great shopping on St. Patrick’s Street and at the English Market. You may also want to visit Kinsale and Cobh.
Day 4. Kinsale – Ennis
Next, drive north to Ennis for a two night stay at the Temple Gate Hotel or the Old Ground Hotel. Take a trip to the celebrated Cliffs of Moher. The Cliffs are truly breathtaking. Also in Clare there are several locally-run restaurants and pubs to visit. Some of the pubs will offer live music.

Today you might like to visit the Ailwee Caves' situated in the Burren region and the surrounding areas which offer visitors stunning scenery.
Day 6. Ennis – Dublin
Your final night in Ireland will be in the capital city, Dublin! Dublin is a dynamic city with several different historically significant attractions, along with a vibrant nightlife you will want to experience. Spend a day or two here and be sure to visit St. Patricks Cathedral, Trinity College (and the Book of Kells!) and the iconic Temple Bar. The Guinness Storehouse is a unique type of tour where you finish at the Gravity Bar with a pint of the delicious beer!
